Abstract

A method has been developed which will permit the simulation of the dynamics of a gas turbine engine on a digital computer at an early stage in the design of an engine to save development time and reduce costs. Simulation studies described include: Heat transfer effects, steady state results and transient results at high altitude or high speed.
